Product Description

The soft starting device is used to control the starting of high-voltage AC motor. Its main composition is the three-phase anti parallel thyristor assembly and its electronic control device connected between the power supply and the    controlled motor. Shvsf series high-voltage solid-state soft starting device is composed of multiple thyristors in series and parallel. The output voltage is   controlled by controlling the trigger angle of thyristors, which can meet the   requirements of different voltages and currents during motor starting. In the   process of motor starting, shvsf series high-voltage solid-state soft starting  device increases the terminal voltage of the motor according to the preset      starting curve to make the motor accelerate smoothly, so as to reduce the       electrical and mechanical impact of motor starting on power grid, motor and     connected equipment. When the motor starts up to the normal speed, the bypass  vacuum contactor or circuit breaker is connected, and the motor starts up. During the operation of the motor, the soft starting device continues to monitor the motor, measure the motor current and voltage in real time, and      provide various relay protection functions.


The main primary devices of shvsf series high-voltage solid-state soft starting device include: Vacuum AC contactor or vacuum circuit breaker, series thyristor module, overvoltage protector, high-voltage current transformer, high voltage transformer, soft starting controller, power module, etc.

Working principle

High Voltage Solid State Soft StarterWhen the soft start device detects the external start command, when the microprocessor detects the synchronization signal, it controls the thyristor phase angle trigger of the main circuit to gradually increase the current and voltage at the motor end, so as to start the motor smoothly. In this process, the RC resistance capacitance absorption unit absorbs the peak voltage when the thyristor is turned off in reverse; The voltage equalizing resistor controls the thyristor voltage to ensure that the voltage of each thyristor in the series circuit is equal. The optical fiber trigger ensures the electrical isolation between the controller and the high-voltage thyristor, and ensures that the trigger signal is not subject to electromagnetic interference.
 

Protection Function

1) Overvoltage protection and undervoltage protection: when the voltage exceeds the set voltage value and time limit, the protection acts and sends a signal.
2) Starting overcurrent protection: when the current is too large during starting and exceeds the set current value and time limit, the protection acts and sends a signal.
3) Operation overcurrent protection: when the current is too large during operation and exceeds the set current value and time limit, the protection acts and sends a signal.
4) Current imbalance: the three-phase current imbalance will lead to motor jitter and heating. The three-phase current imbalance value exceeds the set value and time limit, and the protection action will be accompanied by signals.
5) Starting timeout: when the motor starting time exceeds the set time limit, the protection action will send a signal concurrently.
6) Overload protection: in case of overload during motor operation, the motor operation current exceeds the overload current value and time limit, and the protection action is accompanied by signal.
7) Under load protection: in case of under load or load loss during motor operation, the motor operation current is lower than the value and time limit of over-load and under load current, and the protection action is accompanied by signal.
8)Thyristor short circuit protection: after a thyristor breaks down, the protection action is accompanied by a signal.
